Core Responsibilities
Load Transportation Partners equipment accurately and safely. Must be able to operate heavy powered equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize heavy equipment to sort tubes requiring rework from prime tubes and reload the tubes into the mill for processing. Build pre-packaged multi layered bundles for efficient trick loading. Candidates must be able to work as a team. Customer service skills, both internal and external, are a must. The job duties will include material movements, inventory counting, verification, housekeeping, and general problem solving. To assist in scrap handling movement including the internal movement of roll off containers, both empty and full, scale operation, BOL creation, and staging for pickup. Complete all required training as necessary both classroom and computer based. Drive continuous improvement. This includes steady increases in employee productivity, cycle time reduction, and lead time reductions. Learn new systems using RF scanners to perform transactions in SAP. Assist other operators, maintenance personnel, and coworkers as needed. Perform general housekeeping as needed in all working areas. Participate the execution of housekeeping programs required to ensure facility cleanliness. Maintain all working areas in safe and orderly way. Complete all required training as necessary both classroom and computer based.Job Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required. Demonstrate safety compliance. Possess a high attention to detail. Experience in a manufacturing environment with safety programs and incident accountability. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be willing to work rotating shifts and holidays. Mobile device experience preferred. Must know all proper hand signals..
