About the role This position is responsible for supporting the production of components for various processes in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This includes inspection of components produced by the injection molding machines. Responsibilities Supports a safe work environment by following safety and security policies and procedures Supports a quality work environment by following quality policies and procedures Isolates suspect components and alerts technician, quality assurance, and/or supervision in the event of non-conformance Completes hourly inspections, product identification, and scrap paperwork Documents production and quality records on specified forms Relocates any defective components to specified scrap containers Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools Obtains, moves, sorts, reworks, and packs May be required to transfer palleted material within the production area using a manual pallet jack Supports wall plate position as needed, including inspection and packaging of product Completes housekeeping tasks, including cleaning work areas using basic cleaning materials Attends department stand-up meetings Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to read and follow written and verbal instruction and apply to work standards Ability to communicate in verbal and written English Requires standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, pulling, pushing, and feeling Requires eye/hand/foot coordination Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Prior manufacturing experience preferred Travel Up to 1% may be required What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
