Operator

Night shift position: 7pm - 7am, D crew        

Operates forming lines, printers, and scoring machines.  Ensures that operations are consistent with requirements of the Quality System and internal and external customer specifications.  Assists with material handling function, as needed.

·         Troubleshoots and corrects machine issues

·         Coordinates the efforts of the work team on an assigned line

·         Ensures that quality requirements are met

·         Performs all assigned tasks according to work instructions

·         Ensures effective communication within the work team and production

  department

·         Controls production as defined in work instructions

·         Responsible for food safety

·         Assists supervisor with material handling

·         Works 12-hour shifts standing on concrete

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

·         Go up steps periodically throughout the day

·         Work in the heat

·         Conducts duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures

·         Performs other designated duties as assigned

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Required: Successful completion of all training modules for Operator Assistant position.

Skills: Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
