**Job Title: Operator** **Job Description** We are looking to hire an operator for our Dispersion Department. The Dispersion Department handles graphite, which produces very fine, dark dust that can stick to clothing, walls, shoes, etc. The operator will work with five machines: three medium-sized machines that require attaching a bag on top, one large water-based machine, and one smaller oil-based machine. The operator will track weight, hand pour product, and monitor the machines. They must follow recipes/directions and document their steps in an online system. Additionally, all employees receive cross-training in other departments and forklift certification. **Hard Skills** + Tracking weight + Hand pouring product + Monitoring machines + Following recipes/directions + Documenting steps in online system **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Ability to follow instructions + Adaptability **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Saline, Michigan. **Work Environment** Larger warehouse with three different bays: powder room (entry level), Neat Oil room (more technical), and Dispersion (graphite). The warehouse is hot in the summer, not temperature controlled, and dusty. A new dust collector installed in 2021 makes the dust bearable. Winters can be colder, but the machinery maintains a comfortable temperature.
