• Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) - $23.41 (midpoint) - $28.09 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime
• Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) - $26.15 (midpoint) - $31.38 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a CNC Lathe machinist, we have an exciting opportunity for you on 2nd shift at our Loves Park Campus in Loves Park, IL. What You Will Be Doing:
• Setting up and operating machines including but not limited CNC lathes (Mori Seiki, Mori VMC, Tong Tai, TMU), secondary operations including hones, ID and OD grinders.
• Using company specific databases and systems to locate work instructions.
• Performing manufacturing processes on various aluminum valves and pistons from bar stock
• Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T to verifying products are in spec to customer and company requirements.
• Documenting processes and using inspection equipment (calipers, mics, gauges, CMM inspection equipment.
• Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
• May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
What We Are Looking For:
Level 1:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous CNC Setup and operations experience is highly preferred
Level 2:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a similar role is required
• Previous CNC Setup and operations experience is highly preferred
• Previous CNC or grinding experience is highly desired
• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred
• Willing to learn new and challenging processes and techniques
• Able to communicate effectively both written and oral to all levels of personnel
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, etc.)
