The Operations Support Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and providing administrative support to the operations department, maintaining safety documentation, and leading the onboarding and training of new employees. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage and support the team effectively.
Hiring Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00/year
Key Responsibilities Oversees the filing and maintenance of safety documents, training documents, and driver qualification documents.Compiles safety records and continuously ensures all paperwork and data are up to date and compliant with regulatory standards.Leads the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring all necessary paperwork and trainings are completed efficiently.Communicates effectively with frontline employees and office staff to ensure smooth operations.Ensures all personnel files are up to date in accordance with regulatory standards.Manages the random drug testing program, Clearing House program, and employee roster.Ensures various human resources policies and procedures are communicated to divisional teams and adhered to.Performs other duties as required and assigned to support the operations department.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services. Perform any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values. Education, Experience & QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be legally eligible to work in the US. A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment is required. Proven experience in a supervisory role with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation. Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook are strongly preferred.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between the Rochester, Batavia and Buffalo divisions is required.
