Your Opportunity as the Operations Support Coordinator
Lead completion of payroll for hourly technicians in a manufacturing site. This role will also support other functions such as logistics and purchasing on an as needed basis. The Operations Support Coordinator may also perform duties to support the site from an administrative perspective.
Location: Grandview, WA
Work Arrangements: 100% onsite
In this role you will:
Payroll Responsibilities
Responsible for accurate and timely processing, reconciling, and transmitting of hourly payroll for a weekly pay cycle in plant manufacturing environment using Workday, and other internal subsystems.
Ensure that pay codes and schedules are properly maintained in the timekeeping system
Prepare and process local withholdings (e.g. union dues).
Work with managers to ensure accuracy and proper approval of timesheets and to ensure that all time and exceptions are properly coded and documented through time-keeping system.
Investigate issues and provides managers and employees with information regarding employee time entry; corrects timekeeping errors leading to inaccurate pay in a timely manner.
Prepare all month end payroll accruals for review along with reconciling plant payroll and labor reports. Assist with labor cost analysis.
Provide timely and accurate reporting including, but not limited to state census information, employee attendance, time-off, leaves (FMLA, STD etc.), overtime.
Responsible for processing of unemployment claims; works with Human Resources to provide information to the state agency.
Gain an understanding of union contract(s) and ensures consistent application of the terms of the contract related to payroll processing.
Serve as the business system and process expert.
Assist with all internal payroll audit and maintain control environment throughout the year
Logistics & Administrative Support
Responsible for office front desk and visitor management
Act as the main point of contact at the plant for Marketplace. Assist system users with questions and troubleshooting, ensure accurate data is being recorded.
Serve as the Area Record Coordinator (ARC) for onsite and offsite record storage
Manage local vendor relationships for employee uniforms and cafeteria supplies
Support site communication processes through plant emails, flyers, and updating video monitors and bulletin boards
Responsible for supporting the execution of plant events, meetings, and visits as well as community relations activities
Supports the site safety program with temporary employee orientation and training
Supports the site Logistics Department as needed
Other administrative duties may include ordering and maintaining office supplies, employee break room supplies, grape grower documentation, and other tasks as necessary.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of related experience
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
Strong attention to detail
Experience working within enterprise-wide systems (ex: Oracle, Workday, Marketplace, etc.)
Strong analytical, customer service, communication skills, and strong attention to detail
Personal initiative to work independently and possess a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality and discretion
Ability to support overtime requests during busy season as needed (September and October)
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Associates Degree
Experience processing payroll and invoices, or general accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Experience supporting new software system implementations
Compensation information:
Salary: $40,500 - $56,100
Holiday Bonus: 2%
