The purpose of this position is to assist the VP Operations Support in implementing company initiatives, managing vendor relationships, supporting transitions, communicating with Operations, and organizing information.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Manage internal document repositories
+ Support Owner requested initiatives or programs
+ Manage internal Operations communications
+ Compile, track and distribute report requests
+ Assist Operations Manager with property acquisition and disposition tasks
+ Support the transition process during heavy volume
+ Act as a liaison for vendors as assigned
+ Support budget rollout and process
+ Support other operations initiatives as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Must demonstrate Bell Core Values and work and fit well within the company culture
+ Must be detail-oriented and have strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
+ Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-based setting; must display a professional demeanor at all times
+ Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Must be resourceful and well organized
+ Must present a professional image
+ Must be customer service focused
+ Must be able to maintain confidentiality
+ Flexibility in working hours and travel as required to accomplish the work
+ Must be skilled in strategic planning and execution
+ Strong understanding of apartment operations and financial acumen
+ People management skills; ability to win a team over & collaborate to produce results
+ Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with internal & external customers
+ Diligence and patience to see tasks through to final, sustainable solution (“Right results” driven)
+ Master at time management
+ Ability to work backwards from desired end result to create road-map of how to get there
+ Naturally intuitive (How does this work? What is needed to sustain? Who is doing what? Who needs to know?
Education and Background
+ BA/BS in business or related field
+ 2+ years multifamily experience preferred
+ Strong working internet knowledge
