What You Will Learn:      

Ensure all quality-related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. 

Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. 

Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules. 

Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity. 

Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations. 

Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities. 

Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service. 

Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies.

Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on-time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments. 

Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management. 

Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates 

Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions. 

Lead and conduct meetings / reviews and prepare information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.

To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:

Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.

Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.

Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.

Work Environment:

•    In your role, you will be exposed to:

-Products of various weights and sizes

-Equipment with moving parts

-Chemicals that may emit fumes

To minimize safety risk to you and the product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:

Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be able to perform the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodation

Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements

Bending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc.

Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation)

Must be able to stand for 2 hour increments without an opportunity to sit

Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Transporting product with or without product carts

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

2+ years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)

Qualifications We Prefer:

LEAN certification.

SAP proficiency. 

Collaborative leadership behaviors that emphasize high goal setting, team empowerment and providing support. 

Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels. 

Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.    

NOTE:  SkillBridge Fellows are not eligible for these benefits, however they may be available upon conversion to full-time.
