The Operations Supervisor will work with the Auto Transport Services, Operations Manager and Operations Lead, direct and control the activities of ATS private fleet of auto haul trucks and actively direct and control driveaway and yard operations at the Windsor Releasing Yard.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and manage unionized drivers and yard employees to ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and legal regulations, including hours of service in accordance with the DOT/MTO Submitting customs documentation for load clearance and adhering to customs regulations Plan and schedule work assignments based on shipping requirements and workload priorities. Submit Weekly Payroll Monitor driver logs for compliance with hours of service and DOT/MTO regulations Ensure proper vehicle staging for shipment Address employee performance or behavior issues as they arise Communicate load priorities, movements, diversions, and accidents to employees Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, yard and equipment Respond to and report accidents, incidents, and breakdowns, ensuring proper documentation and DOT/MTO compliance Coordinate vehicle maintenance with repair vendors Address and resolve customer complaints on shift Complete daily inventory, shift notes, efficiency and safety reports.ATS is a subsidiary of FCA Group Inc. and is a fully F.A.S.T. and C-TPAT approved operation.
ATS, located in Windsor, Ontario, utilizes top of the line equipment and employs over 50 employees.
This position is needed for our Windsor Terminal to support same day deliveries of finished vehicles throughout Michigan, Ohio and Ontario.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum THREE (3) years of practical experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation or Manufacturing Bachelor's degree required; post graduate degree preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with drivers, customers, and team members. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day operational issues. Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability Knowledge of MTO and DOT laws and regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must be legally authorized to work in Canada Must be willing to work all shifts (midnights, days, afternoons), weekends and holidays Ability to travel to the United States Ability to work overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications:
