Operations Supervisor
As an Operations Supervisor on the night shift, you will be reporting to the Sr. Quality Assurance Manager. Your primary role is to supervise the sanitation and production requirements during the night shift. Team members reporting to you will follow work task schedules assigned, as well as production, safety and quality standards. In this role, the incumbent will work with hourly team members to implement and lead AM/PM initiatives to optimize operational key performance indicators (KPI’s).

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 hour night shift + overtime as needed, occasional day/afternoon availability

Salary: $73,000.00 - $124,000.00

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for hourly employees to continually improve performance and results to “Win the Day”Ensure the safe, efficient and effective use of labour, equipment and material resourcesUtilize available data and resources to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity and serviceAssist hourly team members in diagnosing malfunctions in their work and around machine activitiesCreate and manage work requestsResponsible for the reporting of defectsConduct required training for sanitation and operational tasksPlan and manage sanitation duties on shiftCreate and review Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)’s for various work centresCoach hourly team members on roles and responsibilitiesFacilitate employee relations investigationsResponsible for following up and maintaining documentation for corrective actionsOversee hourly employee timecards in the labour tracking systemLead communication for all hourly employees on shiftLiaise with third-party representatives, including EcoLabParticipate and support all continuous improvement initiatives assignedThe competent supervisor for all team members on shiftAble to comfortably use required material handling equipment (MHE)Flexibility to work overtime when required

Qualifications & Experience:
