Overview RPS Regency is seeking a committed and energetic Operations Specialist/Customer Service Representative to join their Accounting/Operations team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service by collaborating with agents, business partners, customers, team members, and the Workers' Compensation Agency (WCA). Key responsibilities include processing change requests, handling renewals, and ensuring compliance with WCA regulations. How you'll make an impact Prepare and process new business applications with the WCA and TPA providers for eight self-insured group funds. Handle various change requests such as AOR, payroll adjustments, adding/removing insured parties, and address changes. Maintain and update internal database systems to reflect these changes. Communicate processed changes to the WCA and TPAs specific to each fund. Collaborate with team members across departments to track and process pending cancellations, renewals, and member tracking across different funds. About You At least 2 years of related work experience; an associate’s degree is preferred. Proficiency in customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong accountability for ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented work focus. Ability to work full-time from an office in East Lansing, with some remote work potential. Experience in commercial insurance, including workers’ compensation, is a plus.
