Job Description
As an Operations Project Manager, you will work closely with responsible parties to understand the full scope, timeline, and expected outcomes of various projects. Your hands-on mentality will be crucial as you gather information and create Standard Operating Procedures and similar documentation where needed. You will participate in project meetings and provide weekly status reports on deliverables. Additionally, you will review projects and requests to organize the scope of work, engaging with various departments and coordinating with external vendors to address site challenges and implement mitigation strategies. Understanding industry-specific compliance and regulations will be necessary to raise concerns and find solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with responsible parties to understand project scope, timeline, and expected outcomes.
+ Gather information and create Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.
+ Participate in project meetings and provide weekly status reports on deliverables.
+ Review projects and requests to organize the scope of work.
+ Coordinate with various departments and external vendors to address site challenges.
+ Understand and address industry-specific compliance and regulations.
+ Apply project management skills for continuous improvement and document project activities.
+ Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
+ Work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
+ Maintain attention to detail and highly organized approach.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Administrative support
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office
+ CRM software
+ Operations support
+ 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Management, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management.
+ Experience in coordinating multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Experience in collecting requirements, documenting, and communicating to multiple teams.
+ Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion on time.
+ Proficient in using Microsoft and/or other project management tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
+ Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and other tools.
Work Environment
The work environment is an office setting, and the role involves assisting with the transition of Production from Bethlehem to another out-of-state site. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a team of approximately 30 individuals in Operations/Production and collaborate with two others in Management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
