Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Processor in the non-profit sector, based in New York. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining donor records, processing donations, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. Responsibilities: • Accurately process various forms of donations on a daily basis, including pledges, checks, wires, and credit card submissions. • Regularly update and create new donor accounts in Raiser’s Edge. • Ensure that all donation information is accurately entered into Raiser’s Edge and imported to NetSuite. • Prepare and reconcile daily reports focusing on recurring gifts and online donations. • Collaborate with the Payroll Administrator to process employee donations. • Communicate with National Development or Regional Offices for additional processing information if required. • Adjust gifts in Raiser’s Edge as necessary and provide supporting documents to Finance Assistant for adjustments in NetSuite. • Provide documentation of endowment and restricted funds gifts to the Controller. • Assist Development staff in communicating with donors through the Contribute.org by addressing queries about tax receipt records and specific donor records. Requirements • Proficiency in Raiser's Edge software is essential for managing donor databases and fundraising activities. • Practical experience in Gift Processing is required to handle donations and ensure they are processed correctly. • A strong command of Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and analysis. • Knowledge and experience in Account Reconciliation is crucial to ensure accurate financial records.
