As our Operations Manager - Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the charge in managing the design of state-of-the-art solutions in backup power, solar energy, metering, and generator systems. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership and Performance Management:
Establish and adjust work priorities to meet service level objectives and client expectations.Lead the response to operational emergencies, mobilizing resources and guiding the team through critical resolutions.Set clear performance standards and expectations for all technical staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure all team members are held accountable to their roles.Continuously monitor service delivery metrics to identify gaps, introduce process improvements, and ensure client satisfaction.Regular team discussions to ensure team alignment Operations & Service DeliveryOversee all technical operations including electrical infrastructure, substations, metering systems, electrical projects, and the generator division.Lead project planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day operational coordination.Ensure service levels and client expectations are met with minimal downtime and high performance.Manage and support teams to deliver services aligned with job roles and company standards.Drive continuous improvement by developing internal procedures and implementing process enhancements.2. Client Engagement & Project ExecutionEngage with current and prospective clients to understand needs and present tailored solutions.Lead the development of technical proposals, pricing, and presentations that align with strategic goals.Conduct site assessments and represent the company in technical discussions.Oversee full project lifecycles including design, installation, quality assurance, and compliance.Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
3. Energy-and-Utilities Management & InnovationLead the development and execution of energy optimization strategies across solar and generator platforms.Manage and ensure that accurate and reliable data acquisition is gathered through metering for the purpose of utilities managementReview energy and utility management reports.
Qualifications:
BSc, B.Eng, B.Tech qualification in Electrical EngineeringExperience and Knowledge:
Proven experience in electrical operations or energy managementProven leadership skills managing technical teams and multiple projectsProven experience in electrical design, simulation, and project execution.Strong technical expertise in backup power systems, UPS, and solar installations.Experience dealing with consultants’, contractors, and other project stakeholders.Proficient in troubleshooting techniques Good working knowledge of the OHSAct.Skills and Attributes:
