CHANEL continuously evolves in its search for perfection. In a demanding and constantly changing context, the Operations Manager is in charge of all the Support and Back Office activities (inventory, maintenance, after sales and security) of the Boutique.
Combining strong leadership, a strong team spirit, a passion for fashion and a strong analytical mind, the Operations Manager is contributing directly to optimize the results of the boutique in the respect of the commercial strategy and the Image of the House . Organized, curious and attentive, he/she works closely with his/her team and promotes collaboration and achievement of results to help make CHANEL the ultimate reference in luxury.
MAIN MISSIONS
Manage the Back Office Team:
Ensures the good understanding and deployment of the strategy of the House by the teamManages and animates his/her team to foster collaboration and enthusiasm across roles and missionsFederates and motivates the team towards the achievement of their objectives via follow-up interviews and appraisalsDefines the priority actions for individual skills development and monitors themIs a support and an innovative and pro-active force to his/her team in the search for solutions and optimization of the organizationCollaborates with the Management team to align all the retail teams on the boutique strategyMakes regular reports to the Boutique Management on the developmentPilot the business
Strategic partner to the Boutique ManagerAnalyzes the sales and the results of the boutique on a regular basis to make sure of the good progress towards the objective and alerts pro-actively on KPIs with action plans suggested.Is the support of the Sales managers and Boutique management on the key performance indicators analysis on each business activity: monthly coverage, sell through and slow sellers and accompanies their category action plans with relevant feedback and data.Through detailed analysis, works closely with Boutique Management and Sales Manager team to facilitate buying decisions in collaboration with buying function in head officeOptimizes the inventory management with Stock Manager and follows the objectives of inventories. Supervises rolling inventories and prepares the annual inventory with the Stock Manager and his team.Ensures the implementation and the respect of the Boutique procedures and the boutique Charter.Manages the After Sales operations with the After Sales Manager in an innovative way to ensure optimal client satisfaction in line with the Chanel standardsCarries out specific studies necessary for the Boutique Management and is a force of proposal on complementary analysis in connection with the business and the strategyGuarantees and sets up the necessary security devices and procedures in boutique, goods and people.Responsible of police and mall permits with the support of Admin SupervisorEnsures appropriate scheduling of team members in line with legal and CHANEL requirements with Admin SupervisorEnsures the respect of the budget of boutique purchases.To be an Ambassador of the brand:
