Job Description A waste client of Insight Global is looking for an operations manager to join their team in their NYC Market. This individual will be dedicated to one of the depots in the NYC market and oversee a team of dispatchers, drivers and other operational roles. This individual should come from an operational role in the waste management industry - either current or previous experience. They should have experience managing at minimum five direct reports with additional indirect reports. You will be responsible for managing the supervisors, guiding them in their efforts to build a strong team and be the escalation point of contact for anything that happens in the field. We are looking for someone that is flexible with hours as 85% of the work completed by the organization is from 9pm to 7am. There will be some days where you start between 4-6am with a 10-11 hour work day as well as being on call for the supervisors on your team for any pertinent escalations during nights and weekends. This role requires being onsite 5 days a week. It is a permanent role with a salary starting at $150k+ depending on experience plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
