What You'll Do Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe work environment for all employees & customers Direct and ensure maximum productivity from trucking, shipping, receiving and operations team Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly Maintain the overall appearance of the facility Must collaborate with Branch Manager to ensure successful accomplishments of branch goals Maintain Inventory through the prevention of losses due to fraud, poor quality, and poor counting practices to include loss of product not being cycled/expired What You'll Need Leader who displays a "can do" attitude, sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall mission of both the Plant and the overall company goals Exhibits integrity and trust as well as respect for the individual through strong moral character, demonstrating leadership and communication skills Customer Service focused and collaborative as appropriate with internal and external contacts with broad knowledge of marketing and sales practices Entrepreneurial attitude and exceptional leadership skills to include team building skills by setting high standards for self and others Written, oral and presentation skills critical Clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback Must be able to multi-task and handle stress in highly productive environment while problem solve in all areas of plant Must be able to control budgeted labor and overtime costs; as well as, maintain fiscal responsibility for all departments' budgets Proficiency in computer applications such as Internet, E-mail, Word and Excel is vitality important Demonstrated ability to manufacture quality products that consistently meet or exceed consumer receiving specifications Preferred familiarity with material handling equipment and how to properly maintain (maintenance programs) and repair equipment Knowledge of transportation and logistics is critical Must have an ability to ensure the safety of both the individual and customers is protected at all times Your Education Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or other closely related field strongly preferred Preferred past successful experience in operations in metal recycling facility or other related industry
