James Martin Vanities is now hiring an Operations Manager to lead business operations.

Position Overview: The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all operational functions, including warehouse management, inventory control, and logistical coordination. This role requires a proactive leader who can champion the development and implementation of organizational protocols, drive safety, quality, and profitability, and act as a strategic partner on our leadership team. You will oversee all facets of our operational processes, interact with vendors, and work collaboratively across departments to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily inbound and outbound operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools.Drive safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives.Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and serve as a liaison among different departments to improve operational results.Ensure warehouse operations are led with efficiency and success, including handling inventory control and coordination of inventory returns with both customers and vendors.Manage and troubleshoot system issues related to order processing, EDI transmissions, reporting and data management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, finance/accounting, marketing, product development, and customer service, to resolve operational challenges and improve processesDevelop and maintain data reports and dashboards using PowerBI to monitor performance and support decision-making.Lead and manage various projects, including but not limited to new customer setups to supply chain optimization and IT initiatives.Maintain relationships with external partners, including logistics providers and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and resolve discrepancies.Oversee safety committee activities and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.Work with internal and external sales reps to provide world class customer service and increase sales.Handle additional tasks as assigned to support the overall operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.2+ years of management or leadership experience, including handling inventory and operational tasks.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is recommended.Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with evolving business requirements.Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to respond effectively to urgent situations.Process-oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilities.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team.A thorough understanding of OSHA and DOT regulationsStrong technical skills, including but not limited to Microsoft O365 applications

$5,692.50 - $12,402.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
