Andretti Thrill Park is seeking an Operations Manager to join the leadership team in Melbourne, FL.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Andretti Thrill Park facility and team members on a daily basis including staffing, scheduling & training of hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, staff motivation, safety and security.  This is an hourly management position that reports directly to the General Manager.
The Operations Manager will take ownership of a department as well as run unit operations and work to create an environment that encourages ownership and accountability by Team Members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead team members with integrity and purposeEmpower staff to deliver exceptional legendary serviceAlways support the Andretti Thrill Park Motto “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence”Manage daily operations: staffing, scheduling, repair and maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality product.Responsible for the development of staffProvide direct and honest feedback to staff regarding individual performanceManage staff training and employee relationsAssure that staff morale is maintained at a high levelTake an active part in the recruitment and retention of staffAccountable to maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor and cash controlManage department labor costs within acceptable budgetsEnsure site inspections are within acceptable standardsManage organization and cleanliness of departmental areasWork closely with Sales Department to ensure proper scheduling and planning for EventsOversee, maintain and inventory areas of unit equipment

Required:Eligible to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of ageStrong written & verbal communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational skillsThe desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workdayWork varying days, nights, holidays and weekendsPreferred and great to have:One year of restaurant or FEC management in a high volume environmentProven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staffStrong training and development backgroundWorking knowledge of cost controlsStrong training and development backgroundPhysical Requirements
