Business Controller

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze financial metrics. Each day, you will identify trends and problems and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming analyses of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.•\tBenchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.•\tPreparing financial modelling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.•\tSupporting the preparation of the relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting and providing information to the management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.•\tProvides information to the management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in finance or administration.\t7+ years of experience in similar roles.\tExperience working with operations and/or project controlling.\tExperience working with marketing and sales controlling / finance.\tExperience in ERP (SAP) FICO model.\tKnowledge of ETO & Power BI.\tSAP management in manufacturing environment.\tStrong leadership.\tKnowledge of costs.\tPreparation, presentation and understanding of financial analysis and financial results.\tImplement action plans to improve financial analysis indicators.\tMake forecasts for month-end, quarter-end and year-end.\tAdvanced English.
