We are looking for someone who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
You will learn practical hands-on problem solving and project management skills in a collaborative and innovative manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will combine individual tasks as well as collaborative work or group projects.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work with Manufacturing Engineering on daily tasks to include but not limited to: complete various design projects, writing work instructions, quality alerts, change requests, tooling/fixture drawings, and other documentation as required. Work as part of a team to develop and implement solutions to safety, quality, and production challenges. Update value stream maps, shop floor layouts, and perform time studies. Participate in kaizen events to eliminate waste and improve processes, assist with lean initiatives, and document workflow and results. Assist with various research, testing, and evaluations Process documentation, conduct data analysis, and perform manufacturing audits Assist with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing Complete projects as assigned by Engineering Manager.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office Experience working in a team environment Safety conscious Self-motivated and disciplined with a hands-on approach to problem solving Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall Co-op experience in Sherman, TX from May 2025 through December 2025. College status of a junior majoring in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial preferred) Direct experience with AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS and the development of drawings Six months generalized work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment General Lean Manufacturing knowledge is preferredLocation Overview:
