Operations Automation Manager II - APAC Securities Services Operations

Coach and mentor team members, collaborate with stakeholders, design, and deliver training on workflow automation, and streamline and revolutionize the firm’s processes, reducing manual touch points, building controls and reducing - if not completely eliminating, the false transactions. 


As an Operations Automation Manager within the APAC Securities Services Operations, you will be required to conduct and manage advanced intelligent automation and business analysis to gather requirements from the different Operational Functions to translate process improvements and solutions for operations efficiencies and create capacity, along with potentially managing your team locally. You gather information, execute, and implement automation and the digitization strategy to deliver the outcomes of automation to support the Operations function.


Job Responsibilities:

Manage the various aspects of process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while adhering to the firm’s standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance Project-manage stakeholders, tech as well as Ops partners and track project progress across deliveries to ensure on-time delivery.  Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior relationships and lead stakeholder discussions and forums with clear outcomes and actions Provide executive reporting and communication to senior management Drive solution design for scalable and reusable solutions Undertake development of solutions where required Discover and drive scalable Intelligent Automation opportunities across the Securities Services Operations business units, regionally and globally. Driving leadership in a digital and data first culture, uplifting employee skillset and engagement. Provide oversight to the local management, development and training of the junior staff within the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial services or a related industry sector such as professional services, or technology providers, Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering intelligent automation and business analysis or equivalent experience.  Proven ability to gather and analyze complex data and to develop accurate conclusions with deep comprehension of the business to understand risk implications Significant business and technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex operating models, anticipating issues and use of appropriate technology to mitigate risk Advanced knowledge of one or multiple intelligence automation applications including UiPath, Alteryx and Tableau and programming languages  Experience in coaching and directing less experienced team members on automation tools  Ability to multi-task and proven problem solving capability with demonstrated ability to drive issues through to resolution A commitment to diversity and inclusivity of thought, excellence in execution, and an attention to detail across all you do Excellent ability to use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build relationships across virtual teams Strong written and oral executive-level communications skills with ability to deal with a diverse stakeholder base Ability to work at pace with accuracy, effective at working under pressure and tight deadlines
