Description of Duties\:
The Operations & Sustainment Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will\:
· Manage a team of engineers and administrators in supporting a customer's IT requirements across multiple mediums and dispersed across three different sites.
· Ensure continuous customer support through monitoring and allocating resources towards break/fix issues, new installations, external customer support at off site locations, and coordination with matrixed discrete project teams.
· Monitor and communicate all potential impacts to customer's mission from a communications and IT perspective.
· Help assess risk and implement mitigation strategies for the customer to ensure continued communications and operational readiness.
· Build out new capabilities for customer's emerging IT requirements.
· Serve as assistant task order lead when required with delegated authorities.
· Serve as the senior technical advisor over multiple mediums for operational communication requirements and stand alone training systems and suites.
· Work across the Mission Information Technology team to ensure collaboration and cooperation on mission accomplishment.
· Work with asset management to ensure technology refresh and procurement schedule stay on plan.
· Anticipate needs of the customer on future licensing, access, and account administration requirements and proactively allocate resources accordingly.
· Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems required to meet technical requirements
· Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, and support efforts

Basic Requirements\:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience\: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 6 years of general experience
· Must have 7 years of directly related experience
· Must have 1 year of experience working in a management or leadership role
· Must have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise and mission IT support
· Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements\:
· Have 5, or more, years of experience providing IT support to the Missile Defense Agency or other similar DoD organization or government agency.
· Have 4, or more, years of experience providing IT support to Joint Functional Component Command Integrated Missile Defense.
· Have a current CompTIA A , CompTIA Security , and/or CompTIA Network
· Be proficient with Active Directory
· Have at least 1 year of experience with Missile Warning Training Suite
· Have at least 1 year of experience with Joint Ballistic Missile Defense Training and Education Center IT Support requirements and mission.
This position is expected to pay $104,000 - $129,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
