FLSA STATUS:                    Full-time, Salary, Exempt

Position Summary

The Operations & Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Operations Department of U.S. Bank Stadium with administration and management duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating the setting up and striking of all U.S. Bank Stadium events including, but not limited to, NFL Football games, NCAA and High School baseball, concerts, dirt shows, exhibition shows, conventions and other event related set-up needs in and adjacent to the stadiumWork with Event Managers / Coordinators to support event needsWork with both management and crew directly as well as being a liaison between themProcess and track department purchases and budgetsCoordinate details with vendors and suppliers to ensure documents, contracts, and tracking are in place.Coordinate scheduling with departments and partner companies to ensure planning for maintenance items and projects.Assist Operations Manager by tracking data in systems.Maintain equipment and inventory, including ordering all necessary supplies, materials, and maintenance as needed.Research solutions and vendors for projects.Gather information and data to track operational projects and conversions.Support the Director of Operations with capital/construction project management, budget, and procurement procedures.Manage safety/maintenance program to ensure building meets city, state, OSHA, and corporate requirements.Provide safety and operational training as required to the ASM staffAssist with building’s fire and life safety programs.Support incident investigations both internally and with the client as required by attending any applicable investigations and subsequent meetings, ensuring all individuals involved are treated fairly and with respect in accordance with safety policies.Make recommendations for improving health and safety in the workplace to increase productivity and reduce cost.Maintain a file on trained personnel who are authorized to use motorized facility equipment.Facilitates the Safety Committee. Plan, coordinate and execute meetings and all related issues.Facilitate and deliver all standard, job specific and ongoing training in safety and environmental awareness for all levels of the workforce and regularly verify the tasks are correctly executed.Create and implement safety polices and procedures.Facilitate timely completion of accident/injury reporting.Adheres to OSHA, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Fire Code (IFC) and other applicable safety codes.Attend professional development training sessions as directedOther duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED certificateExperience in similar facility setting (sports and entertainment)30-hours OSHA Training Preferred

Ability to manage complex logistics in support of large, public events maintenance and repairs.Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow and give verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.Skilled at maintaining effective working relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others at the venueAbility to work flexible hours based on event schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work inside or outside environments as necessary.Capability to learn new software systemsWillingness to learn new skills

Computer Skills

Proficient with general office PC applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
