With us, you’ll find a place where your efforts are recognized and rewarded, where you’re making a deep impact on the communities around you, and where you can truly power a career that you can be proud of. **Get to know us morehere (https://www.nppd.com/about-us/our-values)** **Position Summary** Incumbent is responsible for leading and supporting the Enterprise Technology (ET) Operations Technology (OT) Applications team responsible for administering and managing the District’s geospatial applications, including the Geospatial Information System (GIS) and Graphical Work Design (GWD) system, the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), and the Power Center load management system. The incumbent provides and recommends strategic direction and budget management associated with these systems. The incumbent will seek opportunities to leverage these systems with new and existing technology and processes, maximizing the value and efficiency opportunities. The incumbent will support data governance activities, regulatory compliance requirements, and standards to ensure interoperability, accurate, reliable, and secured data for these applications. The incumbent is responsible for administration oversight of the work group including providing work direction, safety leadership, making or recommending decisions for hiring, performance improvement, salary administration, and employee disciplinary actions. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage both personnel and projects effectively. **Education, Training and Experience** A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, cyber security, engineering, business, or other related field AND 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or IT/OT infrastructure. or An associate degree in information systems, computer science, cyber security, business, or other related field and 8 years’ of experience in cyber security and/or IT/OT infrastructure. Demonstrated leadership and broad technical skills in previous work experience is required. Experience and knowledge in IT and/or OT application management and support is preferred. Experience in distribution/transmission operations, engineering, and/or general utility operations is preferred. **Licenses and/or Certifications** None **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** Responsible for day-to-day safety focus and direct oversight and management of the OT Applications team. Ensures teammates are trained in policies, procedures, and practices. Measure and report performance to ensure that procedures and practices are followed. Provide work direction, performance management, and salary administration. This involves travel to and directing work at various District locations. Fulfill technical ownership of these applications while working collaboratively with functional owners, business units, and teammates to develop, direct, and drive the current and future use of these applications seeking all opportunities to leverage our current systems with new and existing technology and processes, maximizing value and efficiency opportunities. Responsible to develop, implement, and manage the process of providing business units and teammates access to the applications and data, including business continuity plans. Work closely with the ET technology teams and Business Units to ensure the District’s data governance standards and processes are in placed allowing data availability, usability, integrity, interoperability, and security across the enterprise. Ensure industry standard and best practice frameworks and processes are in place to protect and secure all OT applications and data managed by the OT Applications team. Collaborate with the District’s compliance stakeholders, subject matter experts, and ET’s IT and OT infrastructure support teams to stay abreast of regulatory requirements and implement controls and processes as required to maintain compliance and secure and protect the applications and data. Ensure records retention requirements are implemented and followed for all OT data managed by the OT Applications team. Responsible for ensuring NPPD’s standard work management process of identifying, planning, scheduling, executing, and closing defined work is followed by the OT Applications team. Participate in the ET work standard screening process. Manage and monitor O&M and capital budgets associated with the OT Applications team. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Continued)** Partner closely with the business units and ET technology teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood through detailed scope review and the technology implemented meets the requirements of the business stakeholders and product owners. Oversee project execution, resource deployment, and overall coordination of efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and budget with quality outcomes. Responsible to provide an environment among teammates and subordinates that encourages teamwork, cooperation, customer focus, and the safe operation of the data used by facilities and systems. Responsible to identify and recruit talent to meet NPPD’s current and future technology needs. Develop people while establishing and keep current a succession plan for the work group to provide for future leadership. Stay involved in trade organizations for insight into technology advancements, directions, peer networking, and advocacy for issues that affect the OT Applications technology. (I.E. In addition to the base salary range listed below, NPPD employees may also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program (AIP) that may supplement total compensation at a level above and beyond the stated salary range.
