Location/Division Specific InformationThis roles is based onsite at our Brisbane offices and focuses on contribution to the development and implementation of the Operational Excellence/Practical Process improvement (PPI) program and initiatives at site level. You will build on the strengths of prior transformation efforts and lead new initiatives to discover opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Do:Supervises the progress of improvement efforts and facilitates the integration of prior initiativesTrains new and existing employees on lean tools and current onsite programsCoaches and develops leaders to embrace lean concepts and techniques within their departmentsFacilitates cross-functional teams to improve current processes onsite and communicates results/expectationsMonitors and reports key performance indicators, performs root cause analysis, implements action plans, and strives for continuous improvement using tools such as Rever and SmartsheetsProcesses data, creates presentations, and records results using Microsoft office programsPerform any other legitimate duties as advised by the Senior Manager, OE (or delegate).Collaborates with internal and global PPI teams and sites.

Keys to Success:EducationTertiary qualification in science or engineering-based field (Bio-Technology, Biochemistry, or closely related degree).

Experience

Familiarity with principles of Aseptic techniques, preferred.At least 1-2 yrs' industry experience within an Operational Excellence/Business Systems Specialist type role1-2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and/or pharmaceutical industryKnowledgeable in cGMP practicesAbility to work in a highly dynamic, frequently changing environment with a wide variety of people and perspectives.Consistent track record of ability to work as a team member and independently as required.Ability to effectively communicate in multiple modalities (e.g. electronic, written, verbal, etc.)Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate initiative to complete tasks according to company achievements / goal tree.Strong team working and collaborative skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Good knowledge of Smartsheets – desirable.
