Job DetailsPosition Summary:
Under the direction of the Branch Manager, this role provides leadership to the staff and manages the workflow of operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Delegation of Shipments: Assign all incoming shipments to operations staff
Outbound Flight Monitoring: Review the outbound flight monitor and prioritize jobs accordingly
Communication: Monitor and respond to operational notes
Operational Support: Assist other offices/departments with operational inquiries
Equipment Management: Ensure the operation and maintenance of facility equipment
Staff Training: Train and mentor staff on operational procedures
Shift Delegation: Delegate responsibilities within a given shift
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with all TSA regulations
Cold Chain Management: Ensure proper management of cold chain shipments
Safety Oversight: Maintain a safe work environment
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
Shipment Monitoring: Monitor shipment notes in the “ok to send” process
Email Management: Monitor operational emails and respond promptly
Shipment Processing: Process shipments as required
Shipment Review: Review all shipments prior to dispatch for tender
Personnel Management: Address personnel issues as they arise
Performance Feedback: Provide feedback on associate performance and development
Communication with Management: Communicate all issues, problems, concerns, and suggestions with management
Vendor Participation: Participate in vendor meetings when necessary
Project Oversight: Provide training and oversee special projects
Quality Compliance: Check compliance with prescribed quality standards per ISO Quality standards. Transport Regulations
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all transport-related regulations and guidelines
Safety Regulations Compliance: Verify compliance with accident prevention and safety regulations
Store-room Capability: Assess the full capability of the store-room (packaging, supplies, cooling media, etc)
Audit Assistance: Provide necessary support to the Branch Manager during internal and external audits
Reporting Directly To:
The Operations Executive reports to the Operations Manager, Branch Manager, or Operations Supervisors

Experience and Educational Requirements:
Operational Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of operational experience
Professional Demeanor: Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Educational Background: Must possess a degree equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an Indian university or its equivalent
Desirable Experience: Experience in logistics, cold chain management, courier services, or export/import operations is desirable
Certifications: IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certification is preferred
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
Operational Skills Mastery: Mastery of Operations Skill Levels 1, 2, and 3
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of operational experience
Dangerous Goods Certification: Certification in handling dangerous goods
Leadership Abilities: Ability to provide leadership, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively
Cold Chain Management: Mastery of cold chain management practices
Operating Systems Proficiency: Mastery of World Courier operating systems
Computer Skills: Above-average proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Excel
