Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Aide manages the day-to-day activities of operations of the program. The Operations Aide will ensure the safety and security of residents at all times. They will monitor the front desk, answers the phones, manages the daily client schedule and ensures that all client activities are completed. The Operations Aide is responsible for screening all clients and visitors entering the facility, providing crisis intervention, completing regular rounds and generating various reports to document events that occurred during the shift. He/she must be able to work all shifts (day, evening, overnight and weekends) since coverage must be provided around the clock. Pays:$21.97 per hour KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Coordinates and ensures the overall cleanliness and good order of the facility. + Coordinates and verifies client movement in the facility in conjunction with clinical staff. + Reports incidents, accidents and client/resident concerns or problems to appropriate clinical staff. Incident reporting includes full documentation of the incident, and potential reporting to outside entities (Justice Center, OCFS, etc.). + Documents the status of the facility in the staff communication book + Monitors client/resident conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty + Distributes and documents the receipt of clients'/residents' mail and packages; conducts inspection for contraband according to established organizational policy + Conducts rounds on a regular basis throughout the shift, and specifically at the beginning and end of each shift, to ensure the good order and cleanliness of the facility + During tour of duty conducts 'Room Runs' to assess cleanliness, safety and operating order of appliances, plant structure, plumbing, fire extinguishers, and safety kits. Documents any violation, notifies unit supervisor and generates appropriate work order + In the event off an emergency, contacts appropriate outside emergency response personnel (EMS, Police, Fire Department), Supervisor(s); appropriately documents in the staff communication book the names of those contacted, the time of the contact, and the action taken. + Attends mandatory agency and state training in safety and first aid, + Conducts searches of clients suspected of introducing contraband into the facility, according to established organizational policy and procedure; document findings and notifies supervisor(s) + Ensures all metro-cards issued are documented on the Metro-Card Sheet. + Ensures that all clients are finger-imaged before 11am. + Overnight shift ensures that all movement and count sheets are accurate + Attends Evening Gathering and assigns escorts to clients going out on destinations. + Must be available to work overnight as needed or when the work schedule rotates to meet facility needs. + + REQUIREMENTS: + + High School Diploma required. + Minimum of one (1) experience in working with individuals with a substance use disorder and/or cooccurring mental health diagnosis. + CASAC Certification preferred. + Obtain within six months of hire: + Supporting Recovery with Medications Addictions Treatment (MAT) + Obtain within thirty days of hire: + Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment + CASAC Canon of Ethics (6 hours) + Confidentiality related to 42CFR (3 Hours) + Mandated reporter (2 hours) + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills + Ability to maintain accurate records, good computer literacy. + Knowledge of residential program operations. *Acacia network is an Equal Opportunity Employer* Job Requirements
