The Operating Technician – Mobile Diesel Mechanic job is a core component for our workforce as one the of world’s largest steel producers. The Mobile Diesel Mechanic will diagnose and repair various types of heavy equipment including, but not limited to pickup trucks, generators, air compressors, dump trucks, forklifts, etc. 

Qualified candidates must have the advanced theory and knowledge of the following:Mobile equipment hydraulic systemsDC electrical systemsCombustion enginesRunning gearsElectronicsPneumatic systemsMotor controlsJob Requirements:Successfully pass both written and hands on assessment1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalentHigh School Diploma or GEDMay require rotating 8-hour shift work, which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidaysOvertime work as needed. Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines always.
