As a Facilities Engineer, you will operate and maintain all building equipment and systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform preventive/reactive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems owned by the client, including, but not limited to air handling units, CRAC units, air distribution equipment, controls, lighting, lighting control systems, kitchen equipment, and general plumbing repairsRespond to trouble ticket/work order requests in a speedy fashion with positive attitudeCompose concise, clear email communication regarding current status of on-going projects and inform JLL team members when appropriateMaintain records, operation logs and files where appropriate, to include, preventative maintenance logs, tasks, pasts inventory, operating procedures, Methods of Procedures documentation (MOPs) inspection logs etc.   Apply working knowledge and skills in HVAC distribution and controls in order to make adjustments and/or corrective actions to resolve work orders, ensure occupant comfort and ensure critical room dependabilityInspect all facilities on continuous basis, identify discrepancies, generate SIM Ticket requests, manage related vendors as appropriate, recommend future repair & maintenance projects and track life cycle of equipmentSafely operate the facility in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements.Demonstrate and enforce safety rules and behaviors.Identify, enforce, and assess safety hazards and risks.Participate in incident investigations.Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionTwo or more years’ experience in commercial Building Engineering or related fieldStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests
