We are currently seeking a OpenShift Ops Administrator (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the container platform ecosystem
- Manage installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring
- Cluster capacity management
- Provide L3 support for OCP administration
- Provide L3 support for applications hosted on OCP / Kubernetes w.r.t infrastructure
- Knowledge on Cluster Build
- Troubleshooting upon issue within SLA
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years hands on experience in PaaS (OpenShift / Kubernetes)
- 5+ years of experience with REDHAT OpenShift Conatiner Platform
- 5+ years expertise with Kubernetes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Docker / CRIO / PODMAN
- Working experience on Prometheus
- Working experience on ELK / SPLUNK
- Knowledge on NAS / OCS / Ceph
- Working experience on Linux based infrastructure
- Working experience on Large/Super cluster (Bare metal clusters)
- Knowledge on Shell / Python Scripting
- Knowledge on Ansible
- Knowledge on Jenkins,Tekton is add on
- Knowledge on Deployment tools (uDeploy,Harness) is add on
- Good knowledge on migration and transition of Redhat Openshift infra.
- Good understanding of infrastructure tools & domain
- Good knowledge on Traditional Unix and experience on workload migration knowledge
- Monitoring tools – Prometheus and/or Logic Monitor. Suggest & enable monitoring for 360 degree health status of the system
- Knowledge and hands on bare metal hardware (x86 >HP / DELL / IBM) support
- Ability to handle emergency situation at any point of time in IT operations
- Able to support weekend based on the Project needs
- Knowledge on Problem / Incident / Change management process
- Good Troubleshooting skill
