Purpose of the position

Deliver public training courses and in-house training solutions to the BSI standards of excellence, in order to develop knowledge and skillsMentor & qualify new and existing tutors on tutor competencies with focus on quality management and sustainability best practices in environment management and health and safety management.Coach new and existing tutors in contemporary learning styles and accelerated learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Ensure that value is added to customers and their business/organisation through the delivery of BSI training coursesContinually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI through excellent delivery of training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholdersMentor & qualify new and existing tutors on tutor competencies, learning styles and accelerated learning techniques.Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process and methodologiesProvide assistance with the design of training solutions (e.g. classroom, virtual, on-demand, hybrid modes of learning).Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplinesProactively engage with BSI tutors and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of excellence for training delivery

Key Results Areas

Performance of BSI South Africa tutors as per performance indicators in the training operations manualDelegate CSAT (9 or above, out of 10)Training course development for various formats (classroom, virtual, hybrid, etc.)Coaching and qualifying new and existing BSI tutors to deliver as per BSI standards of excellenceEngage with key clients and propose training solutions in accordance with BSI standards and formats. Manage key client expectations from proposal to delivery.Deliver and participate in webinars and seminars, for sustainability best practices, to demonstrate BSI’s leadership position as a knowledge leader.Demonstrate continual professional development in best practices for various sectors, with focus on quality management and sustainability for environment management and health and safety management. Disseminate knowledge and skills to BSI South Africa tutors on these contemporary best practices.Can qualify sales leads appropriately and pass on to relevant sales teams

Candidate Specification

The candidate has been a qualified Lead Auditor with Tutor Experience in either ISO 27001, 45001, 9001, 50001, 14001At least 5 years of experience as LA and TutorAbility to coherently deliver training courses across the full spectrum of the delegate profile (online, boardroom to shop floor)Knowledge of individual learning styles and how to address these through the design and development of training courses through the use of accelerated learning techniques.Ability to design and develop training courses and materials to meet specific aimsProven administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage customer expectationsUnderstanding of tutor development processes, training needs analysis and training evaluation techniquesWhere appropriate, qualified Lead Auditor in relevant disciplines.Extensive travel with country and sometimes abroad required as is the ability to spend nights away from home.
