We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Technical Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. This role is responsible for conducting onsite and remote training sessions, supporting the technical learning needs of our employees, and managing systems for conferences and meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in gamification, and the ability to deliver engaging, effective training programs to diverse learners using a variety of tools and platforms. The Corporate Technical Trainer should have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. They must be proficient in training and content development, possess excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills, and maintain a professional appearance. What would you do in this role? Reports To: Learning & Development Manager Location: Plano, TX Corporate Office Department: Learning & Development K ey Responsibilities + Develop and deliver technical tra ining material including student guides, instructor manuals, assessments and hands-on classroom activities for Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as in-house systems . + Incorporate gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement and tra ck progress. + Set up and manage AV equipment for onsite tra ining sessions and conferences. + Provide cross-platform technical support for Windows and Mac syste ms + Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) tra ck and deliver tra ining programs. + Foster an engaging, positive, and supportive learning environment, offering targeted tra ining programs to help employees develop and enhance their job skills. + C reate and lead interactive tra ining experiences and facilitate group discussions, role-playing, and team exercises. + Analyze tra ining effectiveness and implement improvements based on data and feedback. + Liaise between users and system developers, troubleshooting technical issues and improving systems. + Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed during tra ining s and meetings. + Assist with hybrid events, ensuring smooth technical operations. + Model behaviors and skills taught in tra ining programs. + Complete other necessary tasks as assigned by the Learning & Development Manager . Technical Skills and Qualifications: + Proficiency with Learning Management Systems ( Workday Learning a plus) . + Proficient in eLearning and content writing software ( Elucidat a plus). + Expertise in virtual training tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral ). + Strong instructional design and gamification skills, with experience creating interactive, engaging learning experiences. + Knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems. + Experience with AV equipment setup and troubleshooting. + Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in tra ining environments. + Basic knowledge of cloud platforms . Required Qualifications : + Bachelor's degree in education , Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field. + 2 + years of experience in corporate technical training , curriculum development, or instructional design. + Experience designing and implementing gamified learning programs. + Strong communication and presentation skills to engage diverse learners. + Online virtual classroom experience + Advanced knowledge of technical /audio equipment + Must possess the ability to organize, and prioritize workload, and multi-task + Exhibit strong training abilities while consistently adhering to established training standards. + Ability to travel, including overnight stay, as needed . + Able to stand for long periods at a time . + Able to lift, carry, bend, climb stairs, and squat . Preferred Qualifications + Certifications in instructional design, LMS adminis tra tion, or gamification. + Experience in corporate environments with onsite and remote learners.
