Key Responsibilities:
The Online Trading Manager supports the Head of Marketing and Online marketing team by taking responsibility for the operation and optimization of the shopping experience and resulting sales growth. As an Online Trading Manager, you will work cross-functionally with other teams to develop and execute key merchandising initiatives, strategies, and business priorities in accordance to the business strategies.
Provide administrative support for the E-Commerce team and lead Ecomm team with pride Own site merchandising strategies and their day-to-day execution to drive purest trade online Manage & allocate all aspects of the online budget Identify and execute upon opportunities for optimization of site search, product data, product sorting, filters/facets, product recommendations, up-sells/cross-sells, product taxonomy, and content strategies Utilize data-driven analysis, establish KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional partners to inform decision-making processes and performance reporting Establish an SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic and work with cross-functional partners to execute Manage E-Commerce team on ensuring the successful coordination and launch of new and refreshed products Manage the merchandising calendar to accurately schedule website content and organize support for digital marketing efforts Monitor product category performance to identify areas with opportunity for growth Prioritize implementing strategies and projects to maximize business performance and accelerate sales growth on the site Work with the Digital Marketing team to improve the customers’ shopping and post-purchase experience on the site Track changes in product assortment and ensure changes are reflected during site preparations. Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of product data and promotional content on a daily basis, as well as taking responsibility for correcting and facilitating any fixes Proactively escalate any website issues Stay up to date with best practices, solutions and strategies for web merchandising, ecommerce operations, and SEO Full understanding of brand and brand partnersQualifications and Experience:
BA or BS degree in Ecomm and or Digital Merchandising Marketing, Business or related field 3-5 years proven track record in a high performing e-commerce environment Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Photoshop and other design or web development tools is beneficial Must have strong Excel skills (PivotTables, data wrangling) Experience in marketing, planning, merchandising, operations logistics Strong commercial acumen trader approach to e-commerceSkills:
Good product sensibility and ability to merchandise sites in a visually appealing way Demonstrates strong logical, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; able to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Be a strong coach mentor, driving a high-performance culture Ability to plan, launch & track campaigns across web, social, SMS email Be able to plan your time effectively efficiently work well under pressure Strong verbal written communication skills Ability to analyse report back effectively Proficient in e-commerce monitoring & tracking platforms – to allow for effective planning, implementation and reporting Strong budget management skills Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required; a thirst for learning and success Working knowledge of dealing with managing a digital marketing agency Keep abreast of competitor activity, market trends, best practice Be customer-centric proactive Team-oriented with ability to collaborate with partners across functions and levelsBehaviours:
