Yes If Temporary, enter End Date: Position Summary This two-year position, created through a grant in the School of Education, will help establish infrastructure for SUNY Cortland’s online programs. The incumbent will work on logistical issues for the delivery of several online innovative programs including Integrated Studies Program (IGS), alternative online teacher certification programs, and other online certificate programs.
This is a two year, grant funded position. The term of the position will be two years from the date of appointment with the possibility for ongoing reappointment pending continued funding.

Experience Cortland dives deep into the region’s offerings Major Responsibilities Schedule courses for Integrated Studies Program (IGS) and collaborate with departments to offer IGS courses Establish a plan for assessing program impact through data collection and analysis Advise IGS students by assisting them with selecting courses and making degree plans Coordinate IGS advisory committee, which includes soliciting membership and planning meetings Create advising materials and work with the Registrar to build IGS Degree Works audits Coordinate applied learning experiences for IGS and other programs that require applied learning experiences Support the completion of Prior Learning Assessment evaluations Collaborate with Extended Learning, Advisement and Transition, the Central NY Alternative Teacher Certification Consortium, and other programs in completing analysis of enrollment trends, transfer credit evaluations, and IGS planning
Functional and Supervisory Relationships Reports directly to the Associate Dean of Education Works with multiple offices and personnel to deliver IGS program including: Faculty teaching in the program Extended Learning Office Advisement and Transition Information Resources Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3 years of experience in a higher education setting Experience in managing initiatives/projects Demonstrated high competency in written communication Proficiency using technological tools, Including software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in education or related field 5 years of experience in higher education Experience in program management Experience working with college students on academic issues Experience with online education Understanding of equity Issues in higher education
