Online Admissions Representative

The Admissions Representative Trainee is the first point of contact for prospective students and plays a vital role in their success at SCI. The admissions process includes inquiry generation activities, interviewing potential students, enrolling potential students, ensuring that enrollees attend orientation, and all related activities. The Admissions Representative trainee is new in the role at SCI (within the first six months of employment).

Summary 

• Continually meet or exceed all admissions objectives as determined by management;

• Develop inquiries by matching their needs with the programs taught by SCI and encourage them to visit the most convenient campus; follow-up on all leads, new and old;

• Minimum of 4-5 hours on the phone or in interviews each day speaking with potential students about SCI’s programs;

• Interview prospective students seeking acceptance into one of the programs offered by SCI; set-up appointments for and conduct interviews with all prospects, accompanied by a complete tour of the training facility;

• Provide guidance and assistance to new students through the registration and admission process;

• Present all information about the school, the programs, and the careers of interest accurately and honestly;

• Build rapport and reinforce student expectations;

• Maintain a high level of customer service and student retention;

• Become familiar with and clearly understand each program offered and associated job titles;

• Complete all paperwork as required and in a timely fashion;

• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective students and their families;

• Work well with all other staff and faculty members on the campus;

• Attend and participate in all start dates and orientation functions;

• Comply with all policies and procedures;

• Represent the Institute and all affiliated brands in a professional and positive light at all times;

• Regular, consistent, on-time attendance is an essential function of the job;

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent;

• Heavy outbound call experience;

Computer Skills:

• Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite;

• Experience using all industry-leading computers, printers and fax machines.
