Purpose/Scope:
The OneStream Administrator will oversee the operation and maintenance of the OneStream application. This role will provide a broad range of data, reporting, and system support to the OneStream user base. This role ensures the successful utilization and adoption of the OneStream application by providing technical support, including the design, test and implementation of enhancements. The OneStream Administrator will champion the OneStream platform, lead data integrations, and oversee reporting development. This role will also support user adoption and training for the global finance team. Additionally, this role will drive process improvements surrounding month-end close, reporting, and planning activities by leveraging OneStream technology and adopting OneStream best practices. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Financial Systems.
General Responsibilities:
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to key stakeholder groups
+ Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and build using OneStream platform tools
+ Maintain and create API connections with internal IT and external vendors to support Financial Consolidations and Planning
+ Administer OneStream security, including governance of meta data, user access, entity structures, data translations, chart of accounts, and reporting
+ Evaluate and execute OneStream platform upgrades and communicate impacts; create test plans and perform functional testing within OneStream
+ Maintain and enhance OneStream business rules and member formulas to support complex consolidation and reporting requirements
+ Evaluate and build logical views, data hierarchies and reporting structures; build and maintain dashboards and cube views in OneStream
+ Support integrations and data quality processes (validations, mappings, transformations, confirmations) from source systems (SAP, other) in OneStream.
+ Ensure internal control governance (including SOX requirements), including coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to system access and change management
+ Manage relationships with IT and serve as an advocate for OneStream users; liaise with OneStream customer support
+ Train and mentor functional and technical team members in gaining expertise on OneStream tools/technologies and methodologies; build and maintain robust process documentation
+ Manage ad-hoc business requests for data extraction and analysis
+ Execute other special projects as assigned.
Professional Experience / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a professional with solid OneStream experience, ideally in a manufacturing-based industry. Given the dynamic nature of the business, this candidate must possess excellent analytical skills, communication skills, operational experience, and the ability to influence and work effectively with key stakeholders as well as with Finance Team leadership. Also, the candidate will possess a strong, positive ‘roll-up-your-sleeves and do whatever it takes’ attitude.
The successful candidate’s qualifications should include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field
+ 3+ years of experience in Financial Consolidation system administration, specifically in OneStream, with experience in SAP ECC and S/4 is a plus
+ Strong documentation and communication skills, to support interaction with Finance customers and IT partners
+ A strong background in accounting and finance
+ Detail oriented, highly accurate, and conscientious with strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
+ Work independently as well as in a team environment
