About the team
Dialpad’s Enablement team builds partnerships with revenue-generating leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in order to equip customer-facing reps and partners with the knowledge, skills, processes, tools, and training to improve revenue performance and make the most out of every customer interaction. As part of the larger Enablement department, Dialpad’s GTM Training & Onboarding team plays an essential role in ongoing pre-sales & post-sales enablement - focusing on large, strategic programs and instructional design techniques rooted in adult learning theory. This team collaborates closely with sales, marketing and product stakeholders to proactively develop and deliver effective training experiences relevant to roles across all of Dialpad's Revenue organization.
The Revenue Onboarding Manager will own the facilitation, logistics, and communications for Dialpad’s revenue employee onboarding program (with a primary focus on: SDR, AE, CAE, SE, Channel, CSM). In this role, you’ll combine live presentation skills (virtual and in-classroom ILT) with sales and technical acumen in order to deliver an ongoing world-class training program.
Your Role
As Revenue Onboarding Manager, you’ll own the onboarding program that all of our revenue org new hires attend - Base Camp. You will work closely with Dialpad Instructional Designers and Sales Managers to energetically deliver and maintain a program that grows alongside the caliber of our company vision. The onboarding curriculum uses a mixture of in-person and virtual facilitation tactics in order to accommodate global audiences. Additionally, you’ll help maintain the upkeep of Dialpad's learning and content management systems.
This position reports to our Manager, GTM Training & Onboarding and has the opportunity to be based in our Tempe, AZ Office. The expectation is to work in-office three days per week, with the option to work remotely otherwise. Each month, one week will be spent delivering live training in our office classroom. Travel may be required 2-3 times per year.
What you’ll do
Serve as the primary contact during the first 30 days for all revenue org hires. Train Dialpad new hires on foundational topics (e.g., industry, products, sales skills, tools, processes), with an in-person facilitation commitment of 40 hours per month. Partner with HR and hiring Managers to track new hire data and movements. Manage and maintain all session decks, resources, activities and training schedules each month, ensuring the content is always relevant as the business evolves. Advocate for updates required to on-demand courses. Deliver ongoing new hire communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks in LMS/CMS to keep the program running smoothly. Manage peer mentoring and stakeholder logistics for in-person training. Order supplies, set up the classroom, and host social events for in-person classes. Maintain knowledge of our communications products (e.g., video meetings, business phone system, messaging, Dialpad Ai). Maintain basic knowledge of our internal processes, sales process, GTM tech stack, and swim lanes across roles.Skills you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in a sales and/or sales enablement role (in SaaS is a plus). Program management experience. Experience facilitating technical and discussion-based training sessions, delivered both in-person and virtually. Mastery of Google Suite (Google slides, drive, etc.) Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing stakeholder requirements. Expertise with tools such as Highspot, LearnUpon, and Articulate Rise. Exceptional communication skills. Extremely detail-oriented with logistical tasks. Knowledge of content development best practices and emerging technologies. Recommended: Portfolio highlighting your training experience and direct contributions.Who you are
