Overview
The Onboarding Coordinator supports the Company’s efforts to create a best-in-class experience for our incoming employees, as well as our operational partners involved with the hiring process. This role will partner with our Talent Acquisition and Operations professionals to maximize the effectiveness of the hiring process, as well as to execute a comprehensive and effective onboarding process that will ensure an impactful new hire experience.
Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day activities associated with the onboarding of new employees, including monitoring compliance tasks, such as pre-employment drug screens and background checks, troubleshooting and resolving new-hire inquiries, and supporting HR administrators, as needed, to ensure successful and timely completion of new hire paperwork.Communicating in a timely manner with the talent acquisition team, HR, and the supervisors on the current onboarding status of all new-hires.Collaborates with talent acquisition, HR and IT to identify process gaps and recommend creative solutions such as electronic forms, checklists, or email communication to better facilitate the onboarding process.Designs and composes documentation and/or training for the onboarding process.Provides training and technical support to end users on all related on-boarding systems.Responsible for deploying New Hire Orientation program.Responsible for group on-boarding events to ensure targeted employee groups are efficiently on boarded with all information and system updates completed in a timely manner.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt and reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in recruiting/onboarding/HR field.Ability to work in fast paced environment while meeting deadlines required.Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.Must have strong ability to navigate operational challenges while maintaining professionalism.Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects.Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications
Experience with UKGPro a plusExperience in the construction industry a plusStrong background in high volume, skilled-craft hiring a plus
