GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Business Intelligence Analyst reports to the Chief Physician Quality Officer. This position provides a unique blend of technical, and analytical expertise to improve operational efficiencies. The position will serve as a reliable expert and collaborative team member in translating data and presentation of data to align with the organization’s strategic plan. The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide data analytics to support key meetings such as Board of Trustee, Finance Committee, Executive Leadership Team, and Service Line.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITES
Responsible for timely provision of data to support the Board, Finance, Executive Leadership Team and Service Line meetings.
Provide support to Quality and Finance Departments.
Collaborate with the Board of Trustee Facilitator & Director of Legal Services Assistant, members of the Executive Leadership Team and other internal stakeholders to provide strategic data insights and analytic guidance for the organization.
Utilize advanced analytical and/or statistical ability to evaluate data and make recommendations regarding workflow and continuous improvement.
Consult and create innovative data solutions such as dashboards, reports, business intelligence tools, etc. for measurement of processes and outcomes.
Manage various data requests and the presentation of data as requested by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Physician Quality Officer.
Identify, define, and implement new data-driven strategies and processes for the organization.
Continuously develop analytic capability of internal and external customers.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge of healthcare market trends and analytics.
Maintain confidentiality of relevant information and abides by organizational compliance guidelines.
Support and embrace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field.
Experience in healthcare analytics / business intelligence or related field.
Knowledge of relational database structures and data flows.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
Comprehensive graphic design skills including knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to develop and use interactive dashboards, such as Tableau.
Knowledge of or ability to learn Control Chart software.
Strong statistics background with knowledge in the appropriate use of statistical methods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in related field. Project management experience. Experience with data visualization tools. Experience working in an organization with strong data governance processes.
