On-site Equipment Service Engineer

The Opportunity:

Job Description

1. On-site maintenance inspection and service support: Assist lab scientist on lab equipment running in good condition. Such like lab equipment trouble shooting, contact equipment vendor to do associate fixing issue if needed, clarify the fault phenomenon and investigation.

2. Service application: If the parts/consumables need to be replaced or external engineers are required to provide field service, assist in submitting the necessary service application

3. Order placing: Submit the required documents to order necessary reagents and consumables, according to the regular maintenance needs of different instruments.

4. Validation Management: Assist on equipment verification plan, prepare necessary reagents and consumables for verification, and assist equipment verification on site.

5. Preventive maintenance Management: Set the schedule of preventive maintenance and allocate the equipment arrangement that needs to be completed each month.

6. Training Management: Communicate between scientists and vendor, to arranged new equipment training or equipment upgrade (including software) training and collected training records.

7. Equipment Data Management: Equipment information maintenance support, including assisting in registration, updating equipment information, on-site update of equipment operating status, assisting in annual equipment inventory and information update maintenance.

Required Skills

1. College degree or above, major in chemistry, engineering, automation is preferred

2. 2 years or above experience in equipment related work, equipment verification service experience is preferred

3. Experience in flow cytometry operation/maintenance, Agilent/Waters/Sciex equipment maintenance is preferred

4. Self-driven, of responsibility, good customer communication skills and coordination skills

5. Have strong hands-on ability and independent on-site troubleshooting ability

6. Have some English reading ability
