The OME Test Stand Project Engineer will\:
Perform project management and engineering functions for development of an Orion Main Engine (OME) hot fire test stand including requirements development, hardware development, manufacturing/procurement, assembly, and test Manage the engineering team for the development of a test stand - Provide budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating support Oversee and develop schedules (MS Project and Smartsheet), procedures, work instructions and process flows Develop risks and risk mitigation plans for rollup into the higher-level risk system Interact frequently with inter-organizational disciplines, NASA System Managers, and operational customers Perform other duties as required *Are you passionate about human space exploration, understanding the origins of the universe, and working with a passionate and diverse team to make a difference? Experience in liquid propulsion engines and testing Experience managing and leading engineering projects Experience with financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and management at all levels Ability to coordinate support from a wide range of technical disciplines Ability to work independently and autonomously and track tasks and issues to completion Knowledge and understanding of MS Project and Smartsheet tools; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings, materials, environmental testing, and office software RequisitionRequisition Preferences\:
