Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman is seeking a creative, results-oriented individual to provide strategic marketing and tactical support and build the Oliver Wyman brand in the region.
As Marketing and Communications Manager, you will work closely with APAC marketing team, the Partner group in APAC and the global Marketing team. You will lead industries’ marketing strategy, design and implement high impact marketing programs that raise brand awareness and help build relationships with clients and influencers.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with APAC regional marketing head and business leaders to identify topics and themes for marketing that are aligned to Oliver Wyman’s business, value proposition, and priorities.
Lead marketing regional campaigns with industry focus also collaborate with APAC marketing team for campaigns in SEA, using a wide range of marketing channels (website, social media, press releases, email newsletters, videos, events etc.)
Lead reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns impact, deliver data informed decisions.
Grow the firm’s media presence in tier 1 media (The Business Times/Jakarta Post/FT etc.) and cultivate relationships with key editors/journalists in the region.
Create local specific content and adapt relevant global marketing content for the region
Work closely with counterparts in Oliver Wyman Forum and across Marsh McLennan (MMC) to develop and manage content delivery strategies for report launches
Enrich relationships with organizations/associations/influencers and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships
Follow industry trends and provide competitive intelligence
Seek out influential conferences and events in SEA, sourcing for potential speaking opportunities at these events for the firm’s leaders
Experience Required:
5-8 years proven track record and experience in a B2B marketing/communication function in professional services or agency
Proven track record leading a team or projects across multiple functions.
Strong media relationships in local markets, especially in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia
Expertise in crafting and editing engaging content across multiple formats (media, social media, web, reports, etc.), and familiarity in using keyword research and SEO.
Keen grasp of social media channels and strategies, especially LinkedIn
Skills and Attributes:
Strong competency in strategy and aligning key stakeholders
Planning and strategize marketing priorities
Strong command of business English, with honed writing and editing skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills for a regional and international work environment
Highly organized, with an ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Agile work attitude, hard-working, and results driven
Ability to speak/write Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia is a bonus
