Offshore Drill Rig Mechanic – Namibia/Ivory Coast
Min. 3 years’ experience on an Offshore drillship.

Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates
Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan
Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed
Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig
Apply all relevant work and safety procedures issued
Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels
Monitor and prevent oil spills from hydraulic operated equipment, power related equipment as well as drilling mechanical related equipment and repair the equipment immediately in accordance with instructions
Carry good housekeeping in own working area
Maintain working areas, tools, equipment and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy and orderly manner
Perform routine maintenance controls of the mechanical equipment and devices as per AMOS Work orders and provide for preventive, routine and non-routine, maintenance and repair of internal combustion engines, pumps, compressors and drilling related equipment of the rig in accordance with superior instructions


Contract duration:
12 months (renewable)
Work/leave cycle:
28 days on duty – 28 days off duty
Salary:
340 EUR / USD per day of work
Onshore:
Paid 50% of the daily salary, for each day of presence onshore in the country of work
Working hours:
12 hours a day / 84 hours a week (12X7)
