Key Accountabilities
1.
To process bills within stipulated time as to correctness as per SOP of CAD and as per the terms and conditions as laid down in contract / SO.2.
To check statutory compliance of contractors to GST, Labour license, P.F, WCP prior to processing of bill. To follow up with vendors for getting statutory compliance certification from IR department for PF, Labour License and WCP, wherever Manpower is supplied by contractor in execution of work.3.
To check the bills in line with the contractual agreement, ensure all penalty, LD and retentions are deducted as per contract terms, ensure correctness of SAC Code and Tax rate in all invoices as per SO. Take up with commercial for rectification of tax rate or SAC code wherever found inappropriate.4.
To check whether proper Tax Credit code is selected by commercial dept. so that there is no revenue loss to the company. To advise commercial for rectification of tax credit code where wrong tax credit code selected

Providing fortnightly PMT rates based on fortnightly average Fuel price for PMT Operation contracts & As and when equipment variable cost. Also providing monthly average fuel cost to Admin dept for vehicle variable cost.6.
To do Annual reconciliation of handling quantity & cost

Comparison of Fuel cost , specific consumption & other contractual norms to bring in some efficiencies & to control any pilferage8.
To do GST reconciliation of vendors on periodic basis, compliance thru vendors in case of reconciliation difference, ensuring compliance thru payment hold, communication etc.9.
To prevent excess claim and prevent payment of duplicate vendor bills.

Coordination and communication with Internal and external customer for smooth vendor invoice processing & payment and resolving query raised by Abex & Audit on day to day basis.
Experience & Educational Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(degree, training, or certification required)
CA/MBA/ICWA/ MBA/ MCOM/ Inter- CA RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) Should have minimum 5+ years’ experience in general accounting, audit & taxation etc.
