Join Our Team as a Grievance Administration Officer at New Porgera Limited (NPL). Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Officer Administrator looking for a meaningful role where you can make a difference? New Porgera Limited (NPL) is seeking a dedicated Grievance Administration Officer to support our Grievance Office and contribute to fostering a positive and fair workplace.

About the role

As the Grievance Administration Officer, you will report directly to the Supervisor – Community Grievance and be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep our Grievance Office running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Handling general filing and maintaining organized records. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Grievance Office. Assisting in the coordination and documentation of grievance cases. Day-to-day screening of community members wishing to see the Grievance officers Assist with translation of Ipili and Enga languages   Systematic filing of hard and soft copies of grievance records Assist with entry of Grievance record into Database Ensure security of confidential files  Submit travel request and assist arrange logistics for the section staff Maintain inventory of section company assets Participate in Health, Safety and Environment awareness and comply with the PJV Occupational Health & Safety Policy and all health and safety rules and procedures

The ideal candidate must have:

A Minimum of Grade 12 and above or relevant qualification Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role Graduated through Job Ready Program and have administrative duties experience Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a Mining Environment Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Hands on experience with all Microsoft Office Applications including Access database  Willingness to read, interpret and comply to documents such as Safety Regulations, Environmental Policy and Grievance Management Standard Operating Procedures 

Mobilization Requirement 

All Applicants must have an up-to-date police clearance Certificate, acquired within the last 6 months Ability to successfully pass a pre- employment medical and drug and alcohol test Be a Local Porgeran (Cat 1 or Cat 2) candidate and available to start immediately  The Roster is 10 days on and 4 days off
