D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Office Supervisor. The right candidate will oversee and manage the daily activities to ensure efficient and timely operations, service deliveries and expense control. Implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversee administrative and support services, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective mannerAssist administrative and support staff with their assigned dutiesSupervise the efficient use of office supplies and maintenance of office equipmentPlan and organize the purchase of office supplies in accordance with purchasing policies and budgetsAssist with financial records and files such as reimbursement and expense vouchersMaintain office records, documentation, and filesSchedule division meetings and daily operationsSupervise all aspects of office maintenance, lighting and repairsCoordinate and arrange division dinners and events, flights, hotels, rental cars and other travel related requestsCreate and distribute weekly reports to executive management and the Division PresidentParticipate in the annual review of the vendors used by office Maintain office services such as coffee service, water, Office Depot, UPS, and FedEx accountsDevelop effective working relationships with all departmentsAssist with corporate-driven initiatives such as Benefits open enrollment meetings, Camp Horton, Career Fairs, HR events, and the Internship programAid other departments when neededConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeAbility to travel overnight

Salary Range

$65k - $75 annual

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One year of related experience and/or trainingPossess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsProvide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilitiesProblem solving skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionThe noise level is generally moderate

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferredJD Edwards experience a plusTaleo and PeopleSoft knowledge a plusStrong communication skillsAbility to multi-task and attention to detail
