The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technologybased services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions.

 

Function/Duties of Position

The purpose of this position is to support a Limited Duration Scanning initiative within the department. The duration of the position is expected to be between 2-4 months. The position will oversee and execute the complete scanning lifecycle of non-clinical paper records. Key functions of this role include: document preparation, document scanning, and digital indexing.

 

This position is expected to function in various capacities as outlined in the Key Responsibilities and Performance Standards section and meet service level expectations for productivity, quality, and process consistency.

Required Qualifications

Education:

One year of general office or secretarial experience, AND An Associate’s degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology; OR

A Bachelor’s degree and six months of general office or secretarial experience; OR

An equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

Job Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications and a strong ability to learn new software applications and processesAbility to work independently on self-guided projects with documented success metrics and deadlinesWillingness and flexibility to handle rapid changes in procedure and technologyAbility to handle confidential information with discretionMust be able to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance and adhere to the attendance policy established for the department
