Job DescriptionEurofins Environments Testing is hiring a new Office Receptionist in our Bellingham, WA location! Please note this role will also serve as courier as needed.
The Office receptionist will play a crucial role in supporting our microbiology team by managing day-to-day office operations. This position requires excellent phone skills, the ability to quickly learn and understand technical information, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Answering Phones: Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and clarity.Logging in samplesFiling data reportsCourier workPossible janitorial dutiesPlacing bottle orders for laboratory and clientsStocking suppliesOther duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh school diploma. Biology and/or Chemistry course work a plus.Clean driving record and valid driver's licenseMust have good customer service and phone etiquetteAble to work around strong odors, loud sounds and potentially hazardous chemicals/samplesMust be dependable team playerMust be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift 25-35 poundsMust be able to follow detailed instructions and perform tasks within a given time frameKnowledge of water industry and/or environmental science strongly recommendedAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Additional InformationThis is a full-time position. Monday-Friday, 9 am - 6 pm with flexibility for overtime and weekend coverage as needed.
